On the evening of August 1, six people were injured when two vehicles collided on the corner of Frikkie Meyer and Delfos Boulevards in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24’s Russel Meiring said that when the ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, shortly before 7.30 pm, they found the injured walking around the accident site. Upon further assessment, the paramedics found one person who had sustained serious injuries and five others who had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
ER24, as well as the provincial EMS, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known at this stage, but local authorities were on the scene to conduct investigations.
